This year Struktis was honoured to support Bridport Round Table’s Annual Charity Golf fundraiser in their work to raise the staggering sum of £12,194.40 for Weldmar Hospicecare and St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.
The weather was perfect and the course beautiful. This is what Bridport Round Table had to say about it:
“What. A. Day! This years annual charity golf day took place on Friday at Lyme Regis Golf Club in glorious sunshine with 20 teams taking part and all fundraising for Weldmar Hospicecare and St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.
We were joined later by additional evening guests to listen to celebrity guest player Matt Le Tissier and West Dorset MP Edward Morello who presented the golf awards. The day featured some fantastic golf, low scores and even a hole in one!
This is an amazing amount of money which will be split equally between the two hospice charities and could not have been achieved without the support and generosity of companies & businesses who have sponsored, advertised or donated prizes to the event. As well as all the teams who entered the event and guests on the day all contributing.
Congratulations to the winning team HK Law of Dorchester who were closely followed by BES Electrical of Weymouth in second place and Gillinghams IFA of Bridport in third spot.
